The statue of the Mermaid of Warsaw (Syrenka Warszawska) was created in 1939 by the sculptor Ludwika Nitschowa. It is a symbol of the capital and is located on the left bank of the Vistula River. The Swietokrzyski bridge is located on the left side. It is a 479 m long suspension bridge. The bridge was opened on 06 October 2000 for the traffic. The national stadium is located on the right side, opened 29 January 2012, Warsaw, Masovian, Poland, Europe
