This is a view from the main car park on the outskirts of the town of Cetona in Tuscany, Italy where visitors to the town park. Not everyone will see this view as it involves peeking through a fence. As a photographer I look left, right, up, down, forward, back and through fences and hedges of course, in the hope of getting an interesting perspective. What caught my eye here immediately was the alignment of the cypress tree, church with bell tower, the row of old town houses and the rocca, or fortress, just visible behind the trees in the far distance. The wall with metal fencing leads the eye down towards the church and even the wall in the foreground has its place.
This is my own photograph, worked on digitally and given an artistic effect.
