Rugged coastlines, good and bad weather are ingredients that are widely used in photography. I also made grateful use of them in this image. The photo was taken on the Atlantic coast near Talmont-St.-Hilaire in the Vendée region (France). A coastal region characterized by the many stony slabs that are located between the ocean and the rocks. There are not many beaches here.
In the background you can still see the outline of Les-Sables-d'Olonne.
The atmosphere is dark, threatening. Yet this does not disturb the image. On the contrary.
The colors that dominate the image fit into a multitude of interiors and invites you to look. What else is there to see?
Discovering the possibilities of photography is my main challenge. And I like to share it with others
