This abandoned monastery is one of my favorites from the trip. Walking around in this religious building from the 15th century took my breath away. It oozes history.
On the first floor of this place the monks used to have their rooms. The rooms have been mostly emptied out, except for some paintings and written text in Latin.
The second floor has a nice little chapel and a few other interesting rooms like one with a really old stove.
In the hallway on the ground floor this former hearse is left to rot. Right behind it was another one that looked quite similar. Objects like this are so interesting to me and I'm glad I've been able to capture it.
Roman Robroek is a photographer who captures forgotten places around the world. In particular, he is focused on creating stunning pho-tos of abandoned locations, rich with wonder, mystery and unanswered questions.
