This is a photo of a wonderful staircase in an abandoned house of culture. This house of culture was most likely built halfway through the 20th century. After the Georgian / Abkhazian war in the 90's of that same century, the building was left abandoned. The staircase is still in great shape and the overgrowing plants make it look amazing.
Roman Robroek is a photographer who captures forgotten places around the world. In particular, he is focused on creating stunning pho-tos of abandoned locations, rich with wonder, mystery and unanswered questions.
