This is a picture I took in an abandoned palace. The palace was built in the twenties of the 20th century and was first used as a summerhouse. The palace is located in a beautiful park and in the park a school was built about 25 years after the construction of the palace itself. Unfortunately, the palace burned down in the 80's and since then it has been left to decay. The palace and the park are listed as monuments. Nevertheless, the palace is in a terrible state and is awaiting destruction or renovation.
Roman Robroek is a photographer who captures forgotten places around the world. In particular, he is focused on creating stunning pho-tos of abandoned locations, rich with wonder, mystery and unanswered questions.
