Welcome to my new series of artworks. 3D-looking sculptural forms infused with abstract modernity. Each piece is a carefully crafted organic entity, captured in the delicate nuances of nude tones, beiges and even a few in black and white.
These artworks explore the boundaries of form and space, where abstraction and organic elements merge in harmonious chaos.
Each artwork is a journey through time and space, a play of light and shadow on the undulating forms. The organic essence in the details brings a deeper understanding of the connection between man and nature.

Maureen Kroep (Losser, April 14, 1980) of The Art Kroep is a graphic designer and illustrator based in the Netherlands. Her whole life has revolved around design. From childhood, she has been busy with crayons, markers and brushes. Drawing, painting and designing is in her system (and on the wallpaper of her old nursery). It is both her outlet and catalyst.
Maureen first studied architecture and then completed applied design with a major in publicity. After this she also completed the Grafisch Lyceum in Zwolle and had a variety of graphic workplaces.
Her illustrations contain various themes, but are mainly characterized by the colorful nature, the diversity of people and everyday things. She loves playing with colours, lines and shapes, mainly inspired by the art movements Pop-art, Jugendstil and Art Nouveau.
Maureen: "Black and white illustrations are not really my thing! Color brings life to my drawings and quite frankly I can't live without it."
She hopes her work finds a way into people's homes and hearts.
