"Abstraction: The structure of a lantern" is a macro shot of the far outside of a lantern, showing very nicely the nerf-like structure. The orange berry in a lantern (Physalis), which is inside a lantern, can be seen faintly behind the structure.
This makes it look like the berry is trapped behind a kind of trellis. The light falling on the lantern, the processing and the natural colours of the lantern and the berry create a warm image, despite the light background. The colours give me a warm autumnal feeling.
The focus in this photo is on the texture of the outside of the lantern, where the orange berry can be seen in the background. Further back, the lantern fades, creating depth in the work.
This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the bedroom, study, hallway or just above the sofa! (Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!)
