"Abstraction in black - white and grey tones (Drops on a grass spike)" is a macro photo of a number of water droplets hanging from a grass spike (lamprey grass). Because I chose a very small depth of field when taking this photo, only a few droplets / small pieces of spikes are in focus. The other parts blur the further they get from this focus point (plane), giving a great sense of depth to the work. The distinctive outlines of the spikes can be seen faintly in the background in dark shades of grey. In the foreground you can see the sprigs coming towards the camera from the spikes, with the water droplets attached to them. By magnifying small things around us, which we hardly see, they can surprise and amaze us! Association: tranquillity, zen, water, drop, nature, abstract, romantic, love, grass, beautiful
