Snowy tree trunks in a typical snowy landscape in Longyearbyen. Thanks to the clear day with a bright blue sky, the Adventfjorden can also be clearly seen in the distance. These fjords are sometimes better known under the name Isfjord, of which formally the Adventfjorden are a branch.
The photo was taken during an expedition trip on sailing ship S/V Noorderlicht to Spitsbergen (Svalbard, Norway).
