The Aegidium is a Brussels building constructed in 1905 to a design by Guillaume Segers. Behind its austere facade on Place Saint-Gilles, it conceals a wealth of interior styles.
The Aegidium cinema opened its doors in 1905. Behind its eclectic facade with neo-classical influences, a complete surprise awaits you. The interior is very diverse with an exuberant decoration that mixes art nouveau and art deco with classical elements such as flower garlands, putti, medallions and peacocks.
