The Tegelberg rises majestically in the golden hues of autumn, and on its ascent a panorama of almost indescribable beauty reveals itself to the eye. The Alpsee, calm and mirror-smooth, spreads out below like a secret treasure. The gentle hills and forests of the Allgäu frame it, while the leaves in warm ochre tones immerse the landscape in an autumnal fairy tale.
But the real highlight of this ascent is the view of Hohenschwangau Castle, which seems to have sprung from another era. The white towers and pointed battlements of the castle rise proudly into the sky, while delicate clouds nestle around them, as if gently dancing around the history and legends that surround this building. The melancholy aura of autumn lends the castle an additional mystical dimension, as if the past were captured in the colourful leaves and clear sky.
The Tannheim mountains rise majestically in the background, their peaks crowned with a light layer of snow as they loom against the horizon. The imposing backdrop of the mountain range completes the picture before the viewer's eyes and lends this place an almost otherworldly atmosphere. The ascent to the Tegelberg thus becomes a journey through a timeless landscape in which history, nature and the magic of autumn merge in harmonious unison.
