Alvis Car and Engineering Company Ltd. is a British luxury car manufacturer from Coventry which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019.
The TC 108/G was available as a two-door saloon with a special feature of a rear panoramic window, and as a two-door convertible. These Alvis TC 108/G were built only 3 years from 1955-1958, one speaks of only 16 or 17 cars, accordingly rare and very expensive for a used car... 75.000 Euro should be enough for a well preserved model from Alvis.

The engine output was 104 bhp (76.5 kW/104 PS) at 4000/min. and the top speed was 165 km/h. The selling price at that time was 3,500 British pounds.
I have been practicing vintage car photography for more than 35 years and here I mainly photograph normal everyday vehicles which were still on the road en masse over 30 years ago. But also cars with extraordinary, beautiful design. From time to time I take pictures of cars, motorcycles and trucks of recent times, when they have particularly beautiful shapes, curves and somehow tempt to dream and drive like a BMW Z8. I find these automotive beauties not only in museums, but also in specialized workshops for vintage cars, with collectors who have invited me to photograph their classics or often in dark, dusty sheds and halls or simply parked at the roadside.
