An acquisition painting of the former Beursgebouw in Vlissingen, Zeeland.
The building was erected in 1635 in the Dutch Renaissance style. It was located on an access road to the Westerschelde. The square on the adjacent Smallekade was then still a harbour. The Beursgebouw had various owners and functions over the centuries. It was donated to the Hendrick de Keyser Association by the municipality of Veere in 1929. It is now a restaurant.
