About the artwork

An Ode to Self-Acceptance and Love

In Angels of Mine 1, earthy tones merge with deep purple and ochre yellow, giving the painting a warm, soothing yet mysterious look. The woman in the centre, with her intense green eyes, is surrounded by childlike angels-miniature cupids spreading love. They whisper to her that she is good as she is, exactly as she is meant to be.

This series is an extension of my abstract work, merging maximalism and symbolism. Angels of Mine is all about unconditional love, protection and hope. The women in my paintings do not represent a uniform ideal of beauty, but a diversity of faces that are all equally valuable. In this woman, I recognise myself-and every woman who seeks herself, embraces herself and learns to love.

The rich layers of colour and layered brushstrokes create depth and movement, giving the painting both a physical and emotional layering. This work is a statement piece that fits perfectly in an interior where art carries personal meaning.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
