Judith was born and raised in the Ruhr Area in Germany.
In her childhood she wanted either to become an astrophysicist and find extraterrestrial life or begin a career as an archaeologist - of course to discover unknown species of dinosaurs. But then she fell in love with art and stories.
So she studied Illustration - since then she has been working as a freelance illustrator mainly in the fields of children's book publishing and licensing. And it is the most marvellous job she can imagine.
Judith loves to paint with different media like gouache, watercolour and coloured pencils or textures made of acrylic paint. But she also works digitally and likes to combine these both worlds in her work.
