An electro-acoustic guitar sits on a stand in the corner of a room,waiting in anticipation of a music session. I produced this in black and white as it seemed to me that without sound a guitar has no colours, if you know what I mean?. Once the musician starts to play, the colours of the music fill the surroundings and beautify the space. In the composition of this piece, I was mindful that it was in a room in an old farmhouse with crooked walls and lots of lines - including roof beams that are partially reflected on the shiny body of the guitar itself.
Born in the South of England I now live half way up a mountain in Umbria, Italy. I work from my art studio looking out over fabulous views of the Italian countryside. I am so happy to share my artwork with you.
