The striking historical harbour cranes along the Scheldt are heritage in Antwerp. Captured in a rough Urban look, where the low point of view was chosen to show off the immense dimensions.
Background information:
On the railway lines at hangars 26-27 and 29, there are eleven harbour cranes. They belong to the collection of the Museum aan de Stroom (MAS). These eleven cranes on Rijnkaai are all of a different type: the oldest is from 1907, the youngest from 1963. Together they reflect the technological evolution of port activity. In 2002 the cranes were even protected as a monument.

I like to show that the beauty of the world is often found in small things; a landscape, a detail, a still life, but also the beauty of decay.
Antwerp is a popular album in my collection, as well as the classic Vespa images.
Capturing the Mediterranean atmosphere in an impression is the goal of the Dolce Vita series. Especially the atmosphere and landscape of Italy, and then more concretely the regions le Marche, Umbria, Tuscany, Riviera of Flowers and the Cinque Terre.
