What an idyll. The view of the hiking trail to the Upper Bavarian church village of Wamberg, which belongs to the market town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From afar, you can already see the historic St. Anna church dating from 1721. The path there is a real treat. Especially in autumn, when the colorful trees line the path.a real explosion of color. The church village of Wamberg could come out of a picture book. By the way, it is one of the highest church villages in Germany. And somehow you get the feeling that time has stood still there. I sat down on a small boulder and just enjoyed this imposing view. The small hay barns to the left and right of the path give the picture an extra dose of rural flair. Also the surrounding mountains one has constantly in the view. Yes, they really exist, these places where the heart rises, which enchant you with their charm and charisma downright. For me, this place is definitely one of them.
