The BMW M6 was not only used in numerous film reels, but also in various motor sport races. According to the Federal Motor Transport Authority, 255 units are still available in 2015 of the original 5855 M635CSi with 260 and 286 hp. In addition, there were several hundred of the BMW Tuner Alpina with more powerful engines up to 330 hp. And there are also two kind of cars by Ernst Fuchs and Robert Rauschenberg, both of which were used as production cars.

I have been practicing vintage car photography for more than 35 years and here I mainly photograph normal everyday vehicles which were still on the road en masse over 30 years ago. But also cars with extraordinary, beautiful design. From time to time I take pictures of cars, motorcycles and trucks of recent times, when they have particularly beautiful shapes, curves and somehow tempt to dream and drive like a BMW Z8. I find these automotive beauties not only in museums, but also in specialized workshops for vintage cars, with collectors who have invited me to photograph their classics or often in dark, dusty sheds and halls or simply parked at the roadside.
