Autumn lasts only a few days in the Engtal near Hinterriß in Austria. As soon as it gets cold at night and the first frost comes, the leaves turn to color and shortly after they fall off. This year I was lucky, a large part of the trees still had yellow leaves and I was able to make this photograph of an old maple tree in the backlight with a sun star.
