Behind the water wheel is a charming old half-timbered house with white timber framing and dark wooden beams. Two windows with yellowish reflections catch the light and give a hint of what is inside. A dark wooden door is located in the centre of the façade.
The surroundings of the mill are lush and green. Various plants and mosses grow on the stones and along the watercourse. A roughly hewn stone wall can be seen in the background, overgrown with further vegetation.
Overall, the picture conveys a peaceful and idyllic scene that combines the beauty of old craftsmanship and the power of nature. It is reminiscent of a time when water was an important source of energy and such mills were a central part of rural life. Photographed by Photoart-Naegele in April 2025 ( Nikon Z50ii )
