Architectural print of the Bauhaus building in Dessau. The building itself is in black and white with a yellow square in the background. The building was built between 1925 and 1926 according to plans by Walter Gropius and opened in 1926.
Bauhaus stands for simple, clean lines, minimalism, simple forms and functional. This is what inspired me for this minimalist print.
The Bauhaus School, based first in Weimar and later in Dessau, unleashed a revolution in architectural and aesthetic concepts and practices between 1919 and 1933.
This abstract print also pairs well with my other Bauhaus prints.
