When you come back from a trip to British Columbia and especially the Canadian Rockies, the first question is usually "How many bears have you seen ?!" We can say we were lucky. This bear we saw walking along the banks of the River Mud Creek while we were in one of the speed boats of the Blue River Safari Company. The surroundings of Mud Creek resembles a rainforest and partly belongs to the Blue River Black Spruce Provincial Park. Bushy banks ensure that the bears regularly follow a route along the river, simply because it is easier.
