Once this was one of the most residences of Lago Maggiore in Italy. The land the villa is built on has been purchased at the end of the18th century. Building the villa started in the 19th century and went through several stages. Some of the people that lived here were a minister of Napoleon, a count of Vercelli and a Polish Prince.
The beautiful panoramic view over the lake is breathtaking. The park surrounding the villa is nearly six hectares and was of great importance.
The villa is set to collapse in a few years. Most of it has already collapsed and it is sad to see the current states of this beauty compared to how it once looked. I found it hard to be creative and make a proper shot and I only managed to get around 3 of them.
When we left the villa local youth climbed over the wall and greeted us. They hang out in and around the villa, which is quite a cool place to be.
