View from the Sierra de Oltà mountain towards the coastal town of Calpe, the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park (Penyal d'Ifac) and the blue Mediterranean Sea. Mountain goats make their home in this wonderful mountainous landscape on the Mediterranean coast.
This photograph was taken amidst a herd of wild goats that I encountered on the trail to the south summit called La Mola. A billy goat is the protagonist of this picture. He looks at the symbol of Calpe, which rises majestically from the sea. In particular, the vertical cliffs on the south side of the Peñón de Ifach give the rock its distinctive shape. The Peñón de Ifach Natural Park is the smallest nature reserve on mainland Spain, but is also a popular destination for hiking and climbing.
My photographic work is inspired by long hikes on remote mountain trails in the Alicante province in Spain. Every time I hike in the Sierra de Oltà and let my gaze wander into the distance, the feelings of freedom and serenity are omnipresent. The local hiking trails offer wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea and towards the surrounding mountains.
This landscape photo is designed to bring some of the charm of the seaside town of Calpe and its landmark, the Peñón de Ifach (Penyal d'Ifac), into your home.
Impressions of the Mediterranean coast. My photographic work is dedicated to the beaches and mountains of the Costa Blanca in Spain. Inspired by long hikes, bright sunlight, plants and sea water. I would like to share my impressions with you and bring the enchantment of the Mediterranean coast into your home.
