The photo was taken from the Amstel River and shows the atmospheric surroundings with the Blauwbrug in the frame. Thanks to the long shutter speed of 90 seconds, moving elements such as the water of the Amstel and any passers-by are blurred, creating a calm and almost dreamlike effect.

My name is Ernesto Schats. I started photographing in late 2016 and pretty soon it developed into a real passion. My photography mainly focuses on capturing cityscapes and landscapes. I prefer to photograph these under special light and weather conditions. Sunrises and sunsets are therefore my preference. I also have a strong preference for long exposures, which allow you to give a realistic image a surrealistic touch.
