The Bridalveil Fall (Bridalveil Waterfall) is a 188-meter-high waterfall in the Yosemite Valley, a valley in the Sierra Nevada in the US state of California. She is one of the main attractions in the Yosemite National Park. The glaciers that formed Yosemite Valley created several hanging valleys. They in turn feed the waterfalls that flow into the Yosemite Valley. Bridalveil Fall differs from the other waterfalls in Yosemite because it is not a stepped waterfall but falls straight down from the valley. The waterfall flows all year round. The main source for the waterfall is Ostrander Lake, which lies about 16 km to the south.
