The Drei Annen Hohne railway station is a dividing station of the Harzquerbahn and the Brockenbahn in Drei Annen Hohne, a district of Wernigerode in the county of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt.
The Brockenbahn is a metre-gauge railway line used mainly for tourism. It runs from Wernigerode via Drei Annen Hohne on the Harzquerbahn and Schierke to the Brocken.
Wernigerode is a town in the Harz Mountains in Saxony-Anhalt. Its old town is characterised by its half-timbered houses, including the medieval town hall and the "Leaning House". On the outskirts of the town, Wernigerode Castle houses a museum and offers views of the town. The Harz narrow-gauge railway network connects Wernigerode with Drei Annen Hohne station, where the steam-powered Brocken Railway departs for the Brocken.
Brocken railway station is located at the summit of the Brocken in the Harz Mountains in Saxony-Anhalt. It is the terminus of the Brocken railway operated by the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen.
At 1142 metres above sea level, the Brocken is the highest mountain in the Harz low mountain range, in Saxony-Anhalt and in the whole of northern Germany. It is located in the Schierke district of the town of Wernigerode in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt.
