This image, Buddhist Om, depicts the symbol for the mantra Om superimposed over the brow and third eye of a statue of a Buddha. Om is the most sacred mantra in Tibetan Buddhism (and Hinduism) and is used at the beginning and end of prayers and recitation of texts. Om represents the whole universe, the combination of mind, body and spirit.
