Photo of a group of young monks in their distinctive dark red robes on the U bein Bridge, a pedestrian bridge near Amarapura, Myanmar. At over 1.2 kilometers, it may have been the longest teak bridge in the world. The bridge, which rests on heavy pillars, can be partially flooded during the rainy season. In the village on the other side of the bridge, one finds some temples, some in Nepalese style.
A collection of photographs taken during my travels around the world, from South Africa to North Korea. My photos range from landscapes to animals, people and cultures, characterised by pure, realistic colours. Exactly as I have been able to observe them through my own eyes during my adventures.
