I didn't know that Butternut Squash is technically a fruit so that was a surprise! Here we see an inviting display of butternut squash. This would make ideal art for a kitchen or restaurant. I love cooking with butternut squash, if you have never eaten butternut squash soup you are in for a treat. I usually cut it in half, scoop out the seeds (though they are edible) and then roast the halves in the oven for about 40 minutes. Scoop out the flesh and use it in cooking.
