The Cadillac V12/V16 is a car made by Cadillac. The Cadillac V16 entered production in 1930. Cadillac sold 2500 V12s that year. The sales number was quite a lot because the car came just after the stock market crash of 1929. In 1931 Cadillac also came with the V12 version, which was the V16 but with a different engine. Until 1937 there were thousands sold annually, but in 1937 the V12 version disappeared and the V16 was exchanged for a cheaper V16 with a larger block angle. The new Cadillac was never as popular. Between 1937 and 1940 there were only about 500 units sold.
For almost 33 years now, Paul Meijering has been active with the paint brushes. As a 17- year old inspired youngster he joined the Academy of Arts in Enschede (Holland) in order to receive a native training in drawing- and painting technique.
