Coffee is pure energy, at least for me. I love the colour nuances with which the foamed milk illuminates and changes the black coffee. In the studio there is always a cup of coffee at the table. I like to hold it between my hands, look at my work and let it take effect on me. "Cappuccino" was created in such a mood. Soft brown tones, full of energy. Changing structures, changing dynamics.
It can be viewed in portrait format as well as in landscape format. Above as well as below, that fits very well here. Moods, sometimes this way, sometimes that. Reinventing oneself again and again.

For me, painting has been language, relaxation and a fountain of energy at the same time since childhood.
At the easel I forget the time around me, recharge my batteries and enjoy every second of the creative process. I can lose myself in two things: looking at nature and painting! I love both equally and so it's no surprise that nature themes are always to be found in my motifs. Not as in a photograph, but as my interpretation. Honoré de Balzac said it: "It is not the task of art to copy nature, but to express it!"
In this sense, here you will find my interpretations of the world around me or deep inside me! I invite you to join me on my journey! "Every painting is more or less a study of the character of the person who painted it", quote Caspar David Friedrich.
