The Chevrolet Camaro is a popular American sports car produced by the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors. It was introduced as a competitor to the Ford Mustang on September 29, 1966, or production year 1967. At Chevrolet, production years begin three months before the beginning of the actual year.
The main components of the car were similar to those of the Pontiac Firebird, whose production years are exactly the same as the Camaro, which was also discontinued in 2002.
After the model disappeared for a few years, a new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro appeared in 2006. This one did have success again, and was succeeded by the a new generation in 2016. A new generation of Firebirds never appeared; the brand Pontiac had been discontinued.
For almost 33 years now, Paul Meijering has been active with the paint brushes. As a 17- year old inspired youngster he joined the Academy of Arts in Enschede (Holland) in order to receive a native training in drawing- and painting technique.
