This artwork is made up of various Delft blue pieces from the Rijksmuseum. Plates and dishes from the Netherlands and China. Hand painted, photographed and then digitally processed. The mix of blues and patterns gives a modern look and can be combined with other pieces from this album.
Dutch designer Mijke Konijn creates the most beautiful designs from her studio in Loenen aan de Vecht. Originally a graphic designer, she enjoyed working in fashion for about twelve years. Then she made the step to freelance designer. That could not have worked out better. How nice it is to be able to do what you love so much every day! Mijke makes Interior trend forecasts and draws patterns for well-known museums and chain stores. She also likes to create custom work, so email her if you have any questions.
