This is an abstract art painting that I have called Colourful Raspberry Dynamics Abstract because, to me, the main colour in the corners remind me of the fruit. Actually the colour raspberry is mixed with purple, magenta, white and more but built up in a series of layers using a plastering tool to create texture. I adopted a spiral motion with this work, which had a vaguely hypnotic effect and so in the final layer I added an almost explosive element in the centre to take the eye back out to the outer part of the spiral again. It is quite dynamic I think!

Born in the South of England I now live half way up a mountain in Umbria, Italy. I work from my art studio looking out over fabulous views of the Italian countryside. I am so happy to share my artwork with you.
