About the artwork

This is a bright and colorful abstract on a steely blue background. A beautiful creative piece full of movement, Cosmic Hammer Smash was actually created as the name suggests, with a hammer!

Picture the scene in my art studio, half way up a mountain in Italy. Loud music, incense, a canvas, paints and a hammer. What could go wrong?

Seriously, hammer smash is a technique used in acrylic pour painting. It takes practice to know which colors will work well with the technique (as well as quantities and which are best on top or on bottom of the paint puddle). It also takes practice to use the hammer in such a way that the paint creates a pleasing splatter in the direction you want it to travel - and not all down the front of the artist!

I love the color combination in this piece and how the color has mingled together while still keeping its individual presence felt.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
