Crane ship Seaway Strashnov of Norway's Seaway 7.
Seaway Strashnov is a very modern crane vessel equipped with the latest technological developments.
The vessel was commissioned by Seaway 7 in 2011. It has a specially shaped hull and is equipped with energy-efficient engines. The crane ship is currently (August 2022) operating in the North Sea installing wind turbines.
Some impressive figures as far as the crane is concerned:
Lifting height up to about 100 metres for the main hook, maximum lifting load is 5,000 tonnes.
Lifting height up to about 130 metres for the auxiliary hook, maximum lifting load 800 tonnes.
