Hi, nice of you to visit my shop! My name is Suzanne van Gompel and I've always had a passion for painting and drawing. As a teenage girl I started to draw and write my own comic strips. I could really use my imagination in this. After that I became interested in oil paint, and now I mainly use acrylic paint on canvas or wood and I like to experiment in abstract forms of art like fluid art. I also make wax drawings, also called encaustic art. I use specially coloured beeswax which often produces very intense colours. By means of an electric iron and a stylus I make intuitive drawings. So this is all done by feeling and creativity. Enjoy your visit to my shop!
