Black and white picture of a Taraxacum or Common name Dandelion. Taraxacum is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. The species are edible in their entirety. The common name dandelion means "lion's tooth" is given to members of the genus, and like other members of the Asteraceae family, they have very small flowers collected together into a composite flower head. Each single flower in a head is called a floret.
The flower heads mature into spherical seed heads called "blowballs" or "clocks" containing many single-seeded fruits called achenes. Each achene is attached to a pappus of fine hairs, which enable wind-aided dispersal over long distances.

In its own way Mirakels Kiekje makes the small world big and the big world even bigger. The camera brings far away close, lets light play with dark, makes colourless or just more colourful, brings a still life to life, fantasy to reality and reality to fantasy. In short, let yourself be carried away in the world of Mirakels Kiekje.
