I love nature and I get a lot of inspiration from it. I never tire of experiencing nature with all its life, smells and colours. With my photography, I try to capture beautiful nature. Sometimes as a landscape, but more often I photograph a beautiful flower, a beautiful leaf, a tree trunk and a mushroom. Insects, such as butterflies and beetles I also love to capture. The closer you get to the subject the more fascinating I find it. You then see the hairs, but also colours that you cannot normally see with eyes.
What you see in the photo is a Day cuckoo flower that I portrayed as a still life with a macro lens on an anthracite background. The pink makes the flower look powerful and lovely at the same time. Working with the macro lens, you can see all the details of the flower, petals and stem. You can see the veins in the petals. The flower's pistil is also clearly visible. The balloon under flower is hairy like the small leaves and stem. It is an herbaceous native perennial, rarely reaching 2 years and is also known by the synonyms Melandrium rubrum and Melandrium dioicum.
