During my visit to the Township Christiania in Copenhagen, Denmark a few years ago, I enjoyed wondering around looking at all of the eclectic self-build houses (made from salvaged materials) and the various photographic opportunities afforded by bicycles, buildings and the wonderful graffiti. This image shows a rack of bicycles, predominantly green and red, parked under a colorful and funky piece of graffiti depicting a man smoking a large spliff! I have given the image a suitably hazy texture - and no the image is not a scratch and sniff!
Born in the South of England I now live half way up a mountain in Umbria, Italy. I work from my art studio looking out over fabulous views of the Italian countryside. I am so happy to share my artwork with you.
An artist and blogger, I specialize in photo art and acrylic painting. For my photo art, I start with my own photographs and work on them digitally to capture the feeling I want to convey with the final image. For my abstract work, I literally 'go with the flow' and follow where my heart wants to take me as I work.
I create art to make your heart smile, capturing the spirit of place in towns and villages, or creating art to enhance the energy of your home or workplace. Take your time to look through my portfolio, I hope you enjoy it.
