What a beautiful cityscape this is! The quay of the Klein Diep at the Vleesmarkt in Dokkum! Seen from the Turfmarkt this is really a perfect typical Dutch picture. Old buildings, with beautiful facades, on a canal, with some trees.
The photo was taken with a long exposure, long shutter speed, which makes the water look nice and flat, and the whole picture becomes more calm and pleasant.
The sun is still shining beautifully on the canal houses late in the day with a soft, warm light.
