"Drops on grass spikes in grey - brown tones" is a macro photo of water droplets hanging from a grass spike (lamprey grass). Because I chose a very small depth of field when taking this photo, only a few droplets / small pieces of spikes are in focus. The other parts blur the further they get from this focus point (plane), giving a great sense of depth to the work. The distinctive outlines of the spikes can be seen in dark grey-brown tones faintly in the background. In the foreground you can see the sprigs coming towards the camera from the spikes, with the water droplets attached.
