These newborn puppies were just 3 days old when I photographed them during my Newborn Puppy Photo Shoot. The trick is to capture the puppies in the most'beautiful way possible, when they are just a few days old and still have their eyes closed.
By creating a nice backdrop of soft materials in warm colours, you get a very nice serene look. I deliberately shoot with a small depth of field, so that only the puppies' faces are in focus and the background becomes a nice, out-of-focus backdrop that makes for a beautiful artistic picture you can hang on your wall at home.
During these Newborn Puppy Photo Shoots, I always try to shoot the perfect picture. We make a lovely soft and warm spot and make sure the puppies have had a nice drink with their mother. That way, they fall asleep relaxed and I can take the most beautiful portraits of these newborn little rascals at my leisure.
