The Oukoop Mill during a misty sunrise with the reflection of the rising sun in the water.
The Oukoop mill is a seesaw water mill and dates back approximately to 1674. Until the 1960s, the mill was used to drain the Oukoop polder - 239 ha. Today, it is owned by the Rijnlandse Molenstichting, which restored the mill in 1989. The Oukoop mill is a national monument and stands in a beautiful landscape.In 2019, the mill underwent a restoration of the watercourse and is fully grinding on a voluntary basis.
