My name is Cor Heijnen and I was born on October 12, 1964. By drawing and painting models at the art academy, I got in touch with photography in about 1994.
I started with a photo printing course and a course in portrait / model photography at a local photo club. Soon my work fell on the photo club and I decided I wanted to continue.
There followed twice the Top Course Portfolio at the Center for the Arts in Eindhoven. This resulted in an exhibition twice.
I then decided to test the level of the level and took the work to the photo academy. Here I could start directly in the third year. In 2001 I graduated from the photo academy. My exam work was judged by an external jury of experts from the art and photography world. With a score of 9.7 I achieved the highest rating that year.
My work, which is characterized by its own style, consists of free work and theme work. Besides photography, I am also very interested in everything that has to do with design and I am involved in interactive multimedia design.
From 2001 to 2003 I did the higher specialization degree at the academy for visual arts. Because of my background, I do not only make photographs and paintings, but I also make extensive use of mixed techniques.
