Frans Blok about Erasmus by night, Rotterdam

Several landmarks of the Rotterdam skyline in the early evening. On the far left in the distance the radio tower at Waalhaven. To its right, the Euromast from 1960, after addition of the Space Tower in 1970 a 185 meters high observation tower.

Central to the picture are the two white towers of the Erasmus Medical Centre. The text "Zie mij" (see me) on the right tower is a temporary work of art meant to draw attention to patients and their caregivers.

Closer in the foreground are the illuminated tower of Boymans and the Parkhotel. On the far right we see another Rotterdam icon: a construction crane which builds diligently on the new developments of the Erasmus MC

My work can be located in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work. I am originally an architect and I live in Rotterdam; for that reason the architecture of that city is a major (but not the only) source of inspiration. But also travel to countries like Iceland and Britain, or walks in the Netherlands, provide much material. Seeing and showing quality and beauty, that is what my work is about.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
