Abney Park is one of the ‘Magnificent Seven’ garden cemeteries of London. It is an intricate network of pathways sided by dense vegetation growing wild. This place can be very relaxing for some, frightening for others. I like the mysterious, gothic atmosphere, and the faux colours of the infrared picture make this place look even more surreal and welcoming.
Italian photographer graduated in Digital Media Design at the University of the Arts London. Along with Motion Graphics I have cultivated a passion for photography too, in particular infrared. I enjoy taking pictures in locations that leave time and space for reflection giving me the chance to become intimate with the surroundings. Images of often solitary places may evoke melancholic feelings, even romantic sometimes, but the presence of few or no people reveal a reserved character, yet sensitive.
